Agree on that one. Rick consistently hit apexes where I was pushing too hard and running wide. That big slide in 8 was me getting the entrance to the left hander all wrong.

everything i learned about how to go fast at infineon was from following Foxx and Buzzetti and getting my butt kicked.
Now that I have been beat fair and square by someone who isn't the national champion or national 1st loser (Sunday's race, congrats Steve), I can finally dump my 2 yr old R888s. Been trying to wear them out before they go the way of the dinosaurs.

in the end, i think the r888s are pretty good tires. I also tend to like old tires. when i first started on the r888s i thought they were complete sh**. FYI, sid is finally throwing away unshaved ra1s he's been racing on for five years. and he ran a 1:58 in qualifying on saturday.

We'll see if i can do anything in utah on new shaved ra1s.

I'll bring the ra1s that charley gave me last year at nationals after he was done with them. maybe that will make me fast.
