KDJones2000 OFFLINE Junior Racer Posts: 55	The answer to your wheel question is very simple. ALL 944 NA cars (other than the S2) had 15 inch wheels. Someone put some Turbo 16" wheels on your car before you bought it. Since your car is an '87, you need late-offset wheels (52.3mm). Since 15" wheels were stock on your car, they will fit the stock brake calipers - assuming that the PO did not swap those out as well.

AgRacer OFFLINE Administrator Posts: 712	If you are running 944Spec, you have to use either the early cookie cutter/phone dial or late phone dial offset OEM 15x7 wheel. No custom, aftermarket, modified wheels are allowed in 944Spec. I was under the impression you were looking into wheel options for AutoX/SCCA as well, which might allow aftermarket. For 944Spec, stock 15x7 wheels only.

I checked with Phils tire 6 months ago about the Jonbloed wheels. They had none in stock and were not expecting anything soon. That may have changed.

I bought 8 of the 15x9" wheels for PTD. The wheels provided a 2 second reduction in lap times using the Spec tire.
