Here are a couple of videos of the small bore qualifying session and race on Saturday, the kickoff to our 2016 racing season here in AZ.

Lots of fun racing with Norm Hamden and Dave Shutt

I qualified on Pole with a 1:09.5 vs. Dave's 1:09.6, while Norm did not post a time. The race started and Dave pulled out a lead at the green. Norm passed me on Lap 2 on the main straight after getting a good run out of Turn 1, and both started to slowly pull away.

Having oil put down by a Miata on Lap 4 around the carousel actually allowed me to get back into the race, as it seemed both Norm and Dave took a bit more time to figure out the fast line through it. There's a little sideways action with Norm coming out of Turn 1 as well. Final MOV was only 0.7s!
