Great to hear you will be out with us.

For those that don't know Jim he picked up the third 944 spec car construted back in 2002. He started racing with us in 2003, but had some issues on and off or a bit. Recient he has been doing DE/TT in a nice while 964, but has decided to come back to crazy world of 944 spec racing.

Austin, Wow... I did not realize all teh issues. However bad vavle springs can result in weak top end power, but ok low end. The dual valve spring design rare sees both fail, but at high RPM is where the problem comes up.

BTW... Be sure to renew your comp license now. I got an email saying they were increasing the license fee starting Jan 1, 2009. So get it done now and it is good for 2009 and save few bucks.

Tech is done, Jim was great, just a few things, the plastic handled FE aren't legal anymore and I need to relocate the sub belt mounting locations. He did drill and mic the cage, (he mentioned that he will be doing this to most cars) have to admit i was sweating bullets on that one, we just welded in the door bars, it would have knocked us out of the season if the that old cage wasn't spec...

Hans is on the way, and I renewed my lic for 09, on the 16th, I don't know if I'll have anything by the 10th tho, can I just bring my old one and the receipt for 09?
