The Porsche Club of America, Southern Arizona Region, invites you to join us in Willcox Arizona:
** Nov. 19 Open track day for track-aware Intermediate and Advanced drivers.
** Nov. 20 Instructor Training Certification and limited DE for track-aware drivers.
** Nov. 21 DE for novice, intermediate, advanced drivers and instructors.
These events are NOT limited to PCA members.
The
Friday Nov 19 event is a NON-PCA event with fees, scheduling, insurance and all other issues handled by Inde Motorsports Ranch. Our club has no say in the running of this event. The number of cars on track may be limited to 8 drivers/session. The track management has announced that the fee for that day will be $100 for 1/2 day, $150 for the whole day. Inde Motorsports Ranch has put restrictions on Friday participation so only track-aware intermediate and advanced drivers, and instructors may participate. There will be NO ambulance in attendance and 8 cars on track at one time (Due to insurance limitations). Note however, air ambulance services are available from nearby Willcox.
On
Saturday, Nov 20, PCA SAR will conduct an Instructor Training Certification school AND a DE for track-aware intermediate and advanced drivers. The track time will be split between the ITC and a "limited" DE. Novice drivers will NOT participate Saturday because the instructors will be tied up in the ITC. Both the ITC and limited DE will be an event with standard PCA insurance coverage, on-site ambulance, etc. The Saturday ITC will require a mix of classroom and on-track driving. Track use will alternate between the ITC and DE participants. We are hoping to have 20+ candidates for the Instructor Training Certification on Saturday. We invite you to join us in either of these Saturday events.
The
Sunday, Nov 21 DE event is also a PCA SAR event with standard PCA insurance coverage, etc, and will have novice, intermediate, advanced and Instructors on the track in our standard format. We will have plenty of insturctors on hand. Please let us know in advance how many drivers you expect will attend from your group, club or region.
Nov 20/21 Schedule and costs:
One day (either ITC, Saturday limited DE or Sunday regular DE) event cost is $150 per driver.
Two-day cost is $250 per driver for the ITC and/or DE.
