I was just at Infineon today watching the practice and riding in a special two seater Indy racing experience car with IRL driver Davey Hamilton. We hit 125 mph coming out of the carousal and 165 mph before Turn 7. 1600lbs & 700 HP = instant acceleration!
Quite a bit of difference compare to our 2600lbs & 130 HP.
I had two tickets for the Sunday race but gave them away since I thought we rather be in a race than watching one.

Despite the heat, my kids and I had a blast. Just wish I hadn't spun the second time and missed my last session (that's what I get for trying to stay ahead of Jonathan in Thunderbolt) I ran out of track, tires and talent and spun off in 15. Those shoulders along the new asphalt were soft and deep! I packed so much dirt into my brakes, one of the rear calipers is still squeeking and sticking.
