57 blew a rod out the bottom today. the uber vogel number 51 is in 31st overall after some mechanical issues.

Bummer too. We were in 11th place when it happened. We knew we were rolling the dice with the #2 cylinder's low compression.
We're already planning the rebuild and eying Buttonwillow in December.

How did you guys finish, Rick?

25th overall, 7th in class. 2:22.8 fastest time. We just had too much time in the pits with minor mechanical issues. I did manage to pass both 1st and 2nd overall cars on track, but their performance was much more consistent than ours.
