after reading thru the rule book i dont think my car will qualify. it is a bone stock 1984 944. but i did a fiberglass 968 body kit on it.

I was very excited when i found the 944 spec racing but now i fear i will not be able to compete.

anyway looks like you guys have a great thing going here. Maybe i will just have to find a stock 944 to race.

Unless i can have it inspected and pass tech as a 944 with a body kit.

While you might not be able to race as a 944-Spec with the body kit, if you can pass the NASA race tech, you can enter in whatever class you have to and, perhaps, be able to race in the spec group even though you are not racing for points.

Something to think about for more fun with the car you already have.

I like the way u think. It looks like only mod I really need to race is a cage am I correct?

You would need to have your car teched to know for sure. A cage is, of course, mandatory. Seat, harness, window net, etc. are also required so it will take someone going through your car to tell you, for sure, what you will need to do.
