We're installing a short 5th gear in his tranny while his cage is being built and he'll be out there with us soon!

Hello all!

Thanks for the introduction Tim. I've enjoyed stalking this site as I've been building the car, and it's very useful. Thanks to everyone that has contributed. Since I've just recently worked through a fresh build, here's my contribution:

1) when having your car caged, and have the windshield out, and no matter what you think to the contrary, in the middle of the garage floor (so everyone can see it) is not the safest place for it

2) when gutting the doors for said cage, make sure your saw blade clears the outer skin..... in all places.....

Hopefully I can add better gems of wisdom in the future.

Got the car back yesterday from the cage-smith.
