Just here to introduce myself. Just aquired my first 944 with a lot of help from my friends joey, and fred. Its a gold 1984 beauty. Roughly 165k miles, but sounds good, and runs strong. With joey freds help i have been able to rebuild the front end, and put some sweet bilstein hd shocks and struts making this car handle as well as it should. Had a bad break issue, but was able to resolve it with new pads and calipers, and flushing/bleeding break system. 2 bottles of fluid later this car stops on a dime. Plans for now are daily driving, and joining as many socal track days as possible and to climb hpde, then she will slowly turn into a track/race beast. Cant wait to meet more in this community. So far i have been overwhelmed with the kindness and support of every driver i have met. See you on the track!
