I recently acquired a 1988 944 track car with an automatic trans. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but considering selling it. I originally bought it to pull the engine as a backup for my spec car, but not sure I want to hassle with that. It has 108K miles and being an automatic, it has probably never been rev'd beyond 5,000 RPM its whole life. Runs perfect. Car is currently registered for the street.

Fred is interested, as he wants an auto, for commuting. He's just cash poor at the moment. He's the mechanic who built my car. We just figured, why bother if we don't have the cash.
