So I'm still in despite the heat but I may have to lean on you Socal guys literally and firguratively. A couple of weeks ago i was hit TWICE while out for a bike ride and am still feeling the ill effects of being thrown 30+ feet thru the air. It's tough to get in and out of the car and loading and unloading my stuff hurts so if anybody wants to volunteer their help in the hot part of Friday evening unloading my car off the trailer I'll gladly repay you with a cold beer.

Also again I may need to take advantage of the legendary So Cal hospitality! I haven't been able to set up my new(to me) trailer yet, the tire rack and tool boxes are being built still and won't be done till next week, so I may pimp some tools and supplies from somebody. Again, the aforementioned beer will be proffered, along with any payment due.

We ended up with 15 entries!! Great turn out for a SoCal event that wasn't a co-sponsored event with Arizona.

The rental Spec had an issue that prevented it from making the race, and one other lost a "parts store" CV joint, but everyone one else made the Saturday race in spite of the extreme heat. As we raced "early", it was only 96 when we started and just below 100 when finished.

The heat did claim an engine on Sunday, and one other didn't make the Sunday race (will find out what happened), but 12 starts AND finishes of all the laps on the 100 degree race.

The rookie from Las Vegas had a smile on his face the whole time!! I guess it wasn't too hot for him!!
