Hi all,
I might be leaving California soon and need to unload some “unnecessary” items like my race car. The car has been built towards 944Spec, but has some minor work left to be legal for the series (power disconnect switch and fire system) and ready to run. The car has been only running HPDEs so far and has been a lot of fun, but with two young kids, the car hasn’t seen a lot of use, and where I’m moving doesn’t run 944Spec nearby (might be switching over to rally racing).

Here are some photos of the car: flic.kr/s/aHsjUQ69jo

Engine:
• The engine was just rebuilt and has zero hours on it. The rebuild includes a refreshed ’83 short block (honed block, new rings, new bearings, and freshened crank), ’86 max-shaved (to 944Spec rules) head for higher compression, wide fire head gasket, and all new seals, gaskets, and belts. Even the spark plugs were indexed for maximum efficiency.
• A/C and Power Steering delete
• New fuel filter
• Rebuilt injectors
• Throttle response cam
• New clutch, flywheel, & pressure plate
• New radiator

Chassis/Interior:
• Autopower roll cage with high-density foam around the driver’s side.
• Sparco Circuit Pro Seat (dated 2007)
• Sabelt 6-pt harness (expired 2011 – fine for HPDE, not 944Spec)
• Momo Corsa steering wheel with quick-release hub
• 5-panel Wink mirror
• Driver-side window net
• Wiring harness has been stripped down to the essentials.
• Headlights and motors removed
• Windshield wipers and motors removed
• Front tow strap. Rear tow point.

Suspension:
• Ground Control front coil-overs (400ftlb springs)
• Weltmeister rear torsion bars
• Bilstein shocks
• Ground Control camber plates
• Weltmeister front & rear anti-roll bars
• Steel front control arms
• Toyo RA-1s with three weekends on them

Included Extras:
• White phone-dial wheels (no tires)
• Various hoses, fasteners, belts, and miscellaneous parts.
• Stock rear muffler section
• Magnaflow rear muffler section (with awesome “coffee can” tip)
(The car currently runs a straight pipe, but it’s one piece from the downpipe. To run the other rear sections you will need to have the pipe cut and setup to run in two sections.)

Still needs:
• Master power shut-off installed (included)
• Water temp sensor (’83 sensor adapted to ’86 wiring or ’86 sensor mounted elsewhere)
• Fire system (I have a solo extinguisher that meets the rules)
• Car weighed and corner balanced
• Suspension alignment
• Possibly other items that I may have missed. Consult the rules and/or a professional.

Make me an offer on the car. I'm looking to get something in-line with what some of the other cars on here are going for, keeping in mind it's not complete, hasn't been in competition (not sure if that's good or bad), and has a fresh motor. Let me know if I missed anything about the car. I'm happy to answer any questions on it.

Thanks- Marc
