Wanted to purchase (or trade!): total quantity of 4 wheels. Since I know these wheels typically came in staggered sets, I'm willing to buy in pairs, but would prefer not to buy single wheels.
First Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET65 Turbo S Clubsport, 951.362.115.30
Second Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET55 Cup (narrow spoke), 944.362.114.00
Third Preference:
QTY (4): 7Jx16 ET55 Cup (Design 93 Winterrad), 993.362.114.00
Condition of the finish is not terribly important, as I will almost certainly be refinishing whatever I get. What is important is that the wheels are straight, no bends in the lips, and minimal-to-no curb rash. Center caps would be nice, but are not mandatory for me to do a deal.
I do NOT want Design90s. I already have a set, they're nice, but cast alloy as opposed to forged, and they're one of the heaviest OEM wheels.
I do NOT want staggered set. This is for my 931 Club Sport project, so I MUST have wheels that will fit the narrow body design. The late offsets of the wheels listed above in 7" width will be perfect for my application. Part of the design aesthetic is to maintain the perfect balance of the 931, so matched-width wheels on all four corners is highly desirable. This approach will also allow me to rotate tires, which will be more economical in the long run. Think function over form for this application!
