TOPIC: Anyone have a straight parts chassis?

Anyone have a straight parts chassis? 13 years, 3 months ago #10574

I'm looking for the front end radiator support structure, basically the "frame rails" from the shock towers forward. I'd prefer a late (86+) chassis to make sure everything fits. I have sheetmetal, this is only the parts of the chassis itself.

Let me know what you have and we can work out the details.

Thanks!

try Shawn Morrison. He always seems to have a 3 or 4 944s lying around. I think Greg and Jerry got their chassis parts from him.

I don't know if it helps but Pick N Pull in Rancho Cordova has, as of last week, an early non sunroof car that is straight up front. Im working this weekend but can go next friday with a sawzall and cut away. Let me know if you haven't found anything by then.

Thanks guys. I emailed Shawn. Ron, I'm holding out for a late model at the moment to make sure everything is the same but I appreciate the offer.

Rick, are you looking for an engine? If I find a donor, we could do a re-ring/bearing/head job and transplant the engine to your car and I'll take the sheetmetal. We could recover the rest of the cost in parts sales probably.

Just a thought...
