What is the best and easiest way to remove these without scarring the inner hub? I tried using a punch on my front left and got out the outer races but I made some dents and marks on the inner hub when doing it.

Is this one hub garbage now or is it ok to continue using them anyway?

This is for an 86, so it doesn't look I have the grooves in the hubs to punch out the races as easily as the 87+

Thanks

All I've ever used was a punch and hammer. Don't try to just punch it out on one side. Take your time and go around the race many times. The scratches won't hurt but I've never "dented" one. If it's dented that much it might make the race deform over time which would not be good for the bearings to be running on an out of round race. Might even tear up the spindle too.

Here are some pictures of the inside of the hubs. I heated up my passenger side hub and that made things easier, but it just seems like there has to be a better way to go about this, to make sure you dont scratch up the hub.
