They have about 140 000 km so about 87 k miles and look like new ones.

i whant 300€ for both so +/- $400

Euro pistons were 10.6 : 1. US 87's had 9.5:1 pistons. Post a pic of the top of the pistons, and we'll be able to tell for sure.

Endeed in europ 944 have 10.6:1 pistons and 163 hp

first 924s have 9.7:1 (or 9.5:1) and 150 hp until mid 1987

late 87 and 88 924s and 944 have 10.2:1 (160ch) pistons, i have the tree models to show differences if you whant, tomarow i will post photos.

These pistons and motronic came from M09 engine.

Phil, interesting. You know your 924S/944 motors. The M44/09 should indeed have the 10.2 pistons. I did not know these were in the European 924S motors
There may indeed be some interest here.

A few more things would be helpful:
1) The pictures you mentioned
2) Measurements of the pistons to assess wear
3) The part number of the Motronic ECU
