Do we have a compiled database for track records around the country as run under the 944 Spec ruleset? We think there was a new record set at Eagles Canyon Raceway last sunday but there was no previous record held. I understand that anything we compile is going to be rendered null once we transition to the new tire, but it could set a good benchmark for new guys coming in as well as further development. I may see what I can dig up for fast times in the Texas Region for future reference.

Not a bad idea at all Jason, especially with the new tires for next season.

You may want to broaden the list a bit for some CW/CCW and the short and long tracks that are run for Cresson and NOLA.

From MyLaps, I have a 2:03.847 for TWS 2.9 CCW, that may be close to some of the faster times.

For NOLA 1.8 CW I have 1:28.623

I was planning on expanding to track configuration as well. I just wanted to get the idea out there in the 20 mins of procrastination I had at work today.

Do we want to include official times posted at PCA races as well? From what I understand, SP1 is the same rule set.

We have a 944-Spec track record section.

From what I recall, only laps during a 944-Spec race are used for track records. That would leave out enduro's, PCA, quali times, etc.

Ken Huey is the guy to get track record information to, I believe.

Now that you mention it, I did find that page on this website. There isnt a section for Texas Region though so I will gather that info and get it to him so that can be updated.

I just saw that records section as well. We probably want to add the NOLA region too.
