With the PCA holding races at thunderhill this year will anyone run with the PCA?

I am working on my 2009 schedule.

I am planning on Cal Speedway with both PCA (April 3-5) and POC (May 16-17). The POC race is in May and will also have a Drivers Clinic which is supposed to be really good formation driving training, among other things.

You are welcome to come and race with us in Phoenix.

Drive is long and the tracks are not fantastic, but we can offer 15 car fields and deep competition.

Remember you will need 5 NASA races to qualify.

Race season for us starts in January, 10,11 with about 1 a month till May.

Hi Todd,

A few of us will try to support the PCA but the scheduling will be tough.
Our full core of 944-SPEC racers will be at the NASA events.
Our regular NASA 944-SPEC race is on March 21-22, 2009 at Infineon raceway and the PCA event at Thunderhill is on the following weekend March 27-29, 2009.
We have NASA 944-SPEC race a couple of weekends after that at Thunderhill in April.

I'm planning to make at least some of the PCA club races in Nor Cal. (Best guess is 2 out of the 3). Just finished getting the medical for the PCA license.

However as Ken points out it is close to our normal NASA weekends.

Todd, I have raced PCA events. Even the one at Fontana only had a few 944's. One of them had only me. It was lonely out there and not much fun. I am tired of Time Trialing when I want to be racing.

My suggestion, if you are going to tow to California, is to race with Ken, Greg and the rest in a NASA event. You will have a good car count, play with a growing 944 crew, great trophies and a great bunch to hang with. After all, at least 3 are with Pixar so you never know what they will come up with.

I plan on racing with them yet again next year and wouldn't miss any event with them that I can fit into the schedule.

My 2 cents worth.
