Well I just got off the phone with Bob @ Team DI and he told me I can bring it back and exchange it if I wish. He also confirmed what many have said, that the cracks are merely in the clear coat or one of the color coats and in no way effect it's safety or performance. I will probably just swap it out and be done with it...just for piece of mind. I am glad he was so helpful too, definitely will see more business from me.
