Hi. I have an '84 with the sport suspension option code. I'm trying to ID the front struts (and more importantly replacement options) that are currently on the car. The part number stamped on each strut is 944 343 031 032 11. The strut can be disassembled (see attached photo). Will the Koni 8641-1038 inserts work here? I'm planning an HPDE build with an eye towards 944spec so I'm trying to build to the rules. Thanks in advance.

The Koni inserts for the early cars (83-85) should work in here without issues.

I have the same type of strut on my 84 944.
