Great drive by Tyler, they made the right call for setup and tires and he did not make any mistakes.

You dont become a multitime National Karting Champion on accident. He has the skills and it shows.

They did a very thourough tech inspection, pulled cam box, head and oil pan. They probably could have blown off the tech since this race had nothing to do with HP. It was all setup and driver skill.

Loren Trefethen was on his way to the front but got collected while passing the leader. The amazing part was that he was driving a convertible in the rain!! He started 17th and got to the front in quick order.

Spot on analysis, Buzzetti! I was jumping up and down in my computer chair when I saw the guys in front of Tyler overdoing it. Also, agree with the E30 race comments. The guy in the convertible hit the tires square on the front, which it seems didn't hurt the car as much as an angle shot, and he got right back underway quickly. Great racing!

Tyler earned a lot of respect this weekend. He put in a lot of effort in preparation, and combined with phenomenal talent, good judgement, and a little luck, got a well deserved win.

A few highlights:

No car to car damage. No DQ's or passes under yellow, under some of the most challenging conditions imaginable. A monumental achievement! Well done guys, and congrads Tyler in particular - he's the real deal!
