It seems that my rocker panels must have been damaged by some "previous owner" and I am not sure that I can use them to get the car really level, front to back. Using the wheel well arches does not seem like a great idea, either. I would like to use suspension points to check this but do not know what the difference between a front point and a back point is on a level car.

Does anyone know what the difference should be, between some front point and a rear point, for level?

Thanks,

Big Dog

Hey Dog!!

Put a level in the door threshhold with the door open. This is a spot of the car that is parralel to the ground.

Get the car level and then measure from somewhere on the caster bracket at the front suspension and somewhere on the torsion tube mount on the rear. i use a paint pen to mark these spots so I can consistently measure from the me place.

Get the car too low and it will push. Ask me how I know!!!
