TOPIC: Blower and AC holes in the firewall

Blower and AC holes in the firewall 11 years, 5 months ago #14704

Can I weld shut the hole for the heater/AC blower? There is also another hole where the hoses for the AC and the heater go that I'm planning to weld shut as well. I haven't seen anything on the rules stating that I can't.

We cover those holes with sheet aluminum and pop rivets.

You can cover them as you see fit, so long as it serves no other function.
