Thanks guys - i already know you are a great bunch so I'm really looking forward to next year.

Is there a source(s) for all the basics - what model year had what driveline, engine and maintenance basics (eg. coolant drain, oil filter replacement), recommended racing fluids, how to swap in a short 5th, etc?

For my E30, my old Bentley manual covered the basics, then I could ask on my boards more complex stuff.

Try looking at Clarks Garage and select garage shop manual on the lefthand side. Otherwise this site and Rennlist/Pelican have plenty of people to reply to your questions.
