newbie here with a question. do you guys run the speedo cable or the e brakes on your cars? what do you do to get rid of the wiring you don't need under the dash? i have a 83 944 and if somebody has anything on the wiring that would be helpfull, color coding on the wires would really help. thanks for any help and enjoy. here are some pics of my work in progress.

I use Photobucket.com for uploading pics onto forums. You need to register but it is quick and easy then the web sites gives you the code to make the image appear in the middle of your post like so:

For a late car, we're working on it. my car has everything but the DME to motor harness out, and I'm having some custom wiring done for the new dash. You can see it in the build thread here: 944spec.org/944SPEC/component/option,com...mit,6/limitstart,36/

I didn't bother with a speedo - I never look while on the track, and the traqumate can tell me how fast after the fact if I'm curious. Parking brake is just extra weight, and a way to warp your rotors if you put it on with the brakes out - I left it out.

Somebody needs to paint their car - I just got back from the build party with Ken Frey's car - it's black, mine is, and now yours, and my old car that Rob has is dark blue!
