Hi Guys,

As I am making progress on the car, I have to make a few decisions.

1. What rotors to run. Slotted, drilled, or both? How much?
2. What type of motor mounts should I use? Stock or are there any options?
3. Do I have to use oem rod bolts? Race ones make it more reliable, no
peformance increase.
4. Cool Suit - how many quarts do people have?

Thanks
Sid

OEM rotors only for spec class.
stock motor mounts as far as I know
stock rod bolts

No benefit to fancy rotors that we've seen, but any of those choices are legal in the stock size.

Stock motor mounts only.

I don't think theer's any issue with ARP/Raceware rod bolts

Get the biggest cool suit you can afford - you won't regret it.

1. Regular "blank" rotors
2. Stock motor mounts only
3. Save your money and stick with OEM bolts

1) stock type solid vented. No slots or drilled. I ran drilled and solid. No performance difference just a cost one. In fact my current rotor are $30 each China specials from Paragon. No complaints

2) Stock. However run the "aftermarket" one. They are cheaper than OE mounts and don't work as well. But for a race car they don't need to last 10 years like you would on street car. So don't spend the extra $$

3) Rod bolts don't fail. I have 20 year old rod bolts and never an issue. Rod nuts can have issues so change them, but don't mess with the rod bolts. Waste of money.

4) Cool suit.. I ran with out one for year. Then I made one. We run short races so you don't need a big system, but that is really your choice.
