Photos of existing installs appreciated. I have the sparco hood pins. I don't see anywhere obvious to do this.

Easiest way is to remove the OEM hood latch, weld a plate over the top of the old mounting structure, and drill a hole in said plate to put the mounting pin in. I've also seen people weld in a diagonal piece over across the front corners, and put one pin in each side there.

I just mounted mine to some fairly thick brackets from the hardware store... Works great.




(don't mind the weld... the two nuts are sufficient)

And yet more examples:

I prefer the sheet style using the fender mounting bolts (at least for a street car). Note that the aluminium sheet is fairly thik and sopported by 2 bolts in each case. The others are on the lemons car and are braced by a welded section to the fender.
