Just wondering as it does have a line that runs back to the tank.

If you can remove, do you need to plug a line?

Yes, remove the canister. No. Don't plug the line. It is the vent for the tank. Oh, wait. Are you faster than me? If so, plug the line.

When you remove the canister, you might want to put a small filter on wherever you end the line. Since it is a vent line, it needs to let air in as well as out so you may not want to leave it open to let stuff into the line.

I thought about revamping the emissions hoses, but I put a cheap in-line fuel filter like Jim suggested instead. Works great.
