I have been looking around for smart bargins and one of the things that popped up was a set of Koni struts http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/f...44-and-86-951-a.html.

These are not listed directly in the rules (model 8741-1136) however, I was curious if they are considered as a legal replacement for the factory installed m474 option, or if I should just go the insert route.

If I go the insert route, the cost will be higher, but the trade off there is they will be brand new

I would go the insert route just to have new, replaceable struts. Not sure about the rules.

Also, I can't see your link but you want something that is a coilover like the Ground Control kit or something similar for height/corner weight adjustment.

Koni was having a sale but I don't know if that is still on. Paragon was one of the vendors and a sponsor.

If you have old worn stock shocks you could probably get a local waiver to complete in class. However you will to put on the proper shocks as soon as you can.

...I think I am going to just go with the shocks referenced in the rules and benefit from them being new well hopefully benefit
No sense in buying twice.
