The backing of Fog Light buckets may be removed for cooling purposes including, but not limited to oil cooling and brake cooling.

20 Remove powersteering bracket
Powersteer reservior tank bracket may be removed.

19 I thought this was covered in the rules already.
15 Brake System
15.6 Brake Cooling
Brake cooling systems are allowed provided they use only air for cooling. Air may be vented
through the fog light area in the front air dam for brake cooling. Brake cooling ducts may be
installed.

20 Same for this one.
16.3 Body Structure
16.3.10 Unused wiring, brackets, nuts, bolts and studs may be removed.

Yes for the other 2.

Yep,
They are covered. well sort of. That is why they are clarifications to the rules. These make it clera what most people already knew.

Here is an example of an aftermarket starter that is 2-3 lbs lighter than stock. Rennlist Group Buy Post

As nice as that starter is there is no advantage to reducing weight down low in the car. Except to reduce the overall weight.

That style of starter does have a very high reliability (as does the original) so it is a good replacement if the original style was not available. Not a problem yet as far as I know.

#19 is needed because we're cutting the back of the fog light bucket out, and also using it for oil coolers as well. It's an accepted practice, but neither was actually addressed by the rules, so a clarification is warranted. Right now, we all just do it because we know that Joe did it too.
