Chris, post the results. RMR had 27 drivers compete in 2010. What number want hp limits imposed on us at this time?
Not looking for names just an actual head count.

So I will now bring up the obvious again.

Have the Regional Directors polled their drivers to see what the actual consensus is for this issue?

The majority of the posters have asked to not have this imposed on us.

Is there a large group of drivers who are not voicing their opinion and want this to happen?

And to ALL drivers out there. The directors job is to reccomend to NASA the proposed rules changes. The top 3 directors of NASA are the ones who decide if these rules changes will take place.

It is not a dictatorship. We are the customers of NASA. If you want your voice heard be sure to speak loudly.

Thank you to those who have spoken up. Regardless of what side you are on you should have your say.

This is an issue. Drivers are feeling dog piled when they post ... so they don't post.

the numbers on that are 7 . 7 different drivers have said no thanks to posting here. but here is what i want.

sorry ,
we do have drivers who are not posting. Some feel they are being ganged up on some just do not want to argue . around 7 drivers have said this to me.

To follow up, my polling of my regions drivers do not feel this is needed at this time, in our region (9/10 respondants so far). However, these caveats are significant. They understand that there are situations that could drive this issue.

No one seems comfortabe answering the question about when/what HP this does become a significant enough issue to warrent intervention, but there is a pain threshold here. Push it hard, and the class will suffer correspondingly, forcing the issue more. In any case, it warrents close attention & consideration over time.

[Edit]
Let me add, though, that I appreciate the openness that has been shown here in discussions about what makes HP, what HP is out there, etc. Cloak & dagger mentality could have made this who issue go nuclear. As it was, it's stayed at a Napalm level .

What is wrong with the regional directors polling their drivers on each of the proposed rule changes and posting the results before any decisions are made?

Charle B. posted the results from the majority of the SoCal drivers which were a thumbs down on most of the changes.

Rule changes even with the best intentions may not be what the majority of the drivers want.
