I've just picked up an '84 944 and will be converting it into a race car hopefully for next season. I want to run it in HPDE for a couple of events this year to get used to the car since I have never had a RWD car on track before.

Anyway, the weak point of the car I bought is the interior, and a somewhat better seat would be nice until I replace it with a race seat. So does anyone have one lying around that I can borrow?

We have a couple of cheap Corbeaus at the Shack but no stock seats- don't know if they would work with the stock 3 point belts, though- are 3 points what you are planning on using initially?

If someone is coming Memphis way, we have a ton of stock seats (some still in cars) you can have.

Another couple of items on your "to do" list ought to be your timing belt and rod bearings- have you replaced them yet? If you haven't we can set up a weekend to get them done at the Shack. Actually, wouldn't hurt to scrounge around there a little, I know there is a roll bar taking up space I would like to get rid of.
