Anyone in Austin? Finally going to get this car put together and would love to meet some of you guys (PCA lurkers too ) I'm out by Lakeway, but the build is near Dripping Springs. Would love some pointers. I'll supply the beer.

NASA has zero 944Spec presence in Texas, but significant PCA 944Cup SP1 presence in the number of 10+ cars. The user timwold on here works to get the word out about stuff going on in Texas. There are some 944 good guys in Texas and like Jason said, are mostly racing PCA, (for now...) It will only take a little momentum wooahaaa..
I have about 10 years racing and building these cars and have done it all a few times. Will travel the country for pizza, BBQ and race buddies.

Most folks in Texas prefer to race PCA but that does not mean a few would not run a NASA event. There are 16 cars that have run a PCA event in 2016 and there are a few more in the works. If NASA does not schedule their events in conflict of a PCA event there might be some folks who will run I obviously cannot speak for them. I personally like the PCA format and there is generally more track time at a PCA event but I would run on a Saturday at MSR C or Eagles.

2017 is shaping up to a be VERY competitive year for the Texas area SP1. below is a list of the cars which ran in 2016 (in no particular order).
