Ok, so maybe not going to be on track in October, look for me to be at the event, though! I might want to be taking pics of some things on your cars, if i offend, please let me know. I am just trying to do this as low buck as possible, and 944s are very new to me. I did, however, spring for new injectors, and a tune up kit, saving up for a belts/water pump job, and I'm gonna need a clutch, hope to be sorting the car in Feb. '15 or sooner. Need used rubber, gonna run on stock springs and shocks/brakes(pad upgrade), for now, and hoping to get my hanksville cage by xmas! It's good to be working a steady gig on a show, keep that money comin!

Update: bought a $400 85.5. Needs a transaxle, now I have two cars and three engines, and one good open, short 5th diff. I need to find a low cost transaxle rebuilder, so I can get the 85.5 transaxle rebuilt. The pinion is destroyed, so I was gonna rebuild the whole thing with a legal LSD and short 5th for the racecar, and use the good '84 trans in the 85.5. Anyone know of any shops in Los Angeles or the valley to rebuild it? My budget is about $1000.

Picked up EDs old rubber for my project. Boy, that reads wierd. Anyways, thanks for all your support, going to start the transfer of parts to the race chassis next week. I will start posting pics.

Ok, all the old 87 turbo rear suspension removed, time to start transferring parts!
