Thanks! We have completed the wiring harness, beginning install next week, clutch and timing / half shaft belts coming by the 12th. Im really hoping to make the SoCal opener at WSIR on the 28th. Still a ton of work to do. We had to switch to an '88 chassis that I picked up for $100. The '83 was just way to hacked up in the firewall, and in the rear. The whole valence was missing support metal, just a nightmare. We are well on our way now, though!!

What a great day at the swap in Escondido! I got hooked up with some rear shocks, a wheel from Tim that hopefully someone can bring to chuckwalla, some 375# springs, and more helpful advice from Chuck and Tim. Clutch, T belt, camber plates, thanks wifey, and the last of my bushings are going to be here next week! Still stripping the car down.

Joey, just thought of something. If you're puting in a 924S tranny, it should already have a short fith gear.
Let us guys know what else you need.

Ahh, no, I have an 85 transaxle, with an lsd. I am getting your short 5th put in it in two weeks. All I need now are sway bar bushings! I'm running an 18 in the rear, and a 23 in the front. It's what I got!

The car is an '88. I am running early control arms, will I have any issues?

Am I correct in reading that you can't run cookies on an '88? They do stick out quite a bit! And if so, I have 2sets of cookies for sale.
