I was hoping to start flat towing my rig next year and I was wondering if you guys lock the steering wheel in the center or just let the steering "wander"?

Also, any issues with the trans by towing with this method? (Obviously left in neutral)

yeah, you definitly DO NOT want the steering wheel to lock. Either leave the key in the ignition or remove your steering wheel lock.

No trans issues... I've towed like this for thousands of miles without any problem. I think this has to do with the fact that our driveshafts are connected directly to a whole transaxle, not just a rear differential like most RWD cars have.
