Did some exhaust work tonite. Welded up a cat delete and installed a thrush muffler -flow thru- and tailpipe then painted the whole deal. Should sound very nice as this is the same setup i had on my chumpcar. Maybe i can install it tomorrow and see how she sounds!

Exhaust is done. Trans is filled w/ new fluid and axels in. Had to readjust the rear torsion bar on the ps as it was too high. Got the car out for a quick drive up the road and it was awesome! Now to start on the body. See my blog for more details.

Wait so we can't put ceramic coating or wrap on our exhaust/headers but we can rust coat them?

My car sits for long periods so I wouldn't mind doing this to mine as long as it's not against the rules.

just read the rules- beyond the header is a freebie but the header im not quite sure- i think the rules read no coatings or paint- which would suck because my headers are spray bombed w/ some black spray paint- maybe it'll cook off by the time i make it to the track.

Most of the time cosmetic stuff is fine, but always read the rules just in case.
